Comin to the post…let me share a story of friend of mine…

We (me & my friend) were watching ‘social network’ movie , he said he wana built a site like facebook and actually make the social networking better. He created an account in facebook and started using facebook explicitly, day n night…

I better call him a facebook addict,as he was online 18-22 hrs a day..Like in the story of the ‘the social network’ Erica in his story was a girl by name Ria. They used to chat on facebook for hours together until Ria went away with another guy.

My friend was very very upset and started writing blog , at the blogger . Time passed by,we got admissions in different universities and the frequency of our meets was lessened . In one meeting of ours he said he met a guy called karthi and said he was very very similar to him and he also was computer geek. He said he changed his blog to the wordpress,as he read one of the posts by karthi at the wordpress and thought that was the place he have to be!!

It was summer and it was really very hot and I got glued to my room . I used to read my friend’s blog at wordpress. He was writing exhaustively . So exhaustively that he was able to have 5000+ people read the blog in 2 weeks time.

His blog was so involving that many people subscribed to his blog and actually commented and queries about the posts he wrote..

He then went on with his blog and started to create a facebook page for his blog!! and made easy for the people to get updates about his blog,if they like his facebook page…

He started to publish his blog in more blog sites like livejournal , blog.com , type_pad and was always occupied writing posts and responding to the queries..

My friend has a name and his name is its_vishu . its me..

This post was inspired by incidents happened to me.. This is a work of  fiction .

The idea of social networking – my way

It’s been a long time I ‘logged’ into wordpress. I’ve been working on social networking,its necessity and the impacts of it on us. I understood certain things which I wana share and present to you in this post of mine.

When I saw the movie ‘The social network’ I was fascinated with the idea of facebook. I’m a user of facebook and twitter. Twitter got recognized ,but facebook was received by the masses. Twitter stood in the second place.  social networking  help people to share the views raise issues etc.

I don’t know about myspace or friendster and I’m least interested in them. I saw an interview of Sean Parker in which he said the sites mentioned in the above line failed to maintain and run their servers , login problems which actually lead to the people ‘migrating’ to facebook and twitter which made friendster and my space leave way to facebook. Facebook and Twitter are now the most popular sites for social networking.

When using twitter or facebook I found some ‘draw-backs’ in both of them.

The idea of sharing an idea is the main theme of social networking. The idea can be fully formed or not fully formed. It depends on the person.

And security issues also matters in the social networking. Not only social networking anywhere security is necessary. I find different videos on you tube regarding hacking passwords of facebook and twitter,which is dangerous and not a great idea.

Privacy is the next big thing in social networking,a user cannot talk to all his friends (his contacts) at a time,so he should have the freedom of power to choose.

There is a need to develop social networking with privacy and security!!

THE COMPUTER DAYZ

It is only when I saw the movie ‘The Social Network’,I became fascinated with the scripting languages  and also with the web..But the Facebook is only the start of the Social Networking…I guess there is a lot a scope for Social Networking to  improve and I guess it is one of the most trending topics these dayz along with cloud computing…The most important thing a person wants is change and new things adding to the site,new features and good looking themes and stuff..I think no website (that I know) have the things of continuos modifications and up-gradation…waiting for those kinda Social Networking site……..
